A worthy article written by Dr. Kalam. Though it is Indian focused, I am sure, it applies to Nepalis as well, especially the part where he talks about those who painstakingly follow rules to the letter in foreign lands but willfully disregard the same at home. Reminds me of this one incident. When entering Nepal at Tribhuvan International Airport (btw, is that name still valid?), I was in a line with bunch of government service bueaurocrats who had just finished their foreign visit. One of them casually pulled out a cigarrette and started smoking. His colleague told him that this is a non-smoking area. To which, he pugnaciously replied, "arey yaar, yo ta Nepal ho."
