Bel-tranny, your analysis makes no sense. Why would the Dolan's even consider getting the league's highest paid player when the Knicks have the league's highest payroll and no playoff season for the past 2 years?? The Knicks have been saying that they need to cut payroll for the past few months (are you living under a rock)!! The Knickerbockers are a for profit organization and getting a Garnett is more of a liability. Why? Look at Starbury's and Eddy Curry's (even Jamal Crwaford) #s this season...Better or as good as the KG/Starbury combo AND STILL NO PLAYOFFS!! I still say getting KG is a deal that will never materialize. The Knicks gotta cut their payroll drastically and build anew with rookies and younger players around Starbury. If they don't do that then the soon to be Brooklyn Nets would take over their turf!! C'mon this is a business and also, money that KG receives for an endorsement is KG's only.
