Following is the excerpt from the email i received from Kaplan Int'l advisor for the same issue: Kaplan recommends that any student who will require a Visa and is also interested in studying with Kaplan apply for an F-1 Visa. In support of a student’s application for an F-1 Visa, Kaplan is authorized to enroll non-immigrant students and issue an I-20 Form. 1) Dual Enrollment with Kaplan: Apply for an English training course with Kaplan. We can issue I-20's for English training programs. If you receive an I-20 for this course, you will have to study for a minimum of 22 hours per week at the Kaplan Center in this English course to stay in status. While you are taking the English course, you can take the GRE course on the side. Please note that none of the hours you complete in your GRE course could be applied towards your 22 hours per week to remain in status. 2) Concurrent enrollment through another school: You can enroll in, pay for and receive an I-20 from another school. You must maintain full time studies at that school. If the International Student Adviser at that school agrees, you can study with Kaplan in addition to maintaining full-time studies at the other school. If you choose this option, you should receive permission from the International Student Adviser at that school before enrolling with Kaplan.
