Only if you are strong. Otherwise you will make a good fun of yourself. However, if you do go then act like a real gentleman, full of forgiveness. Console your heart that it was fate and something meant to be, god is by your side and someone more special is waiting down the life for you. That will help tremendously to recuperate the pain. I know it's hard, but believe me time takes care of everything. I believe you talked with her and know about her mind. Think about those unfortunate people who love someone dearly and passonately, yet couldnot let her know even till the end.
there is no use in blaming anybody, not even yourself. for that sure you could have done something or something else, but time has change now. Live in present, let the past go. Gather your senses and energy, and if you are invited or your ex-girlfriend asked you to come then you may go with confidence like you would go in to a marriage ceremony of some other friend. be cool.
