The role of Bahuns in the new Nepal is no different than that of Chettris, Newars, Madesis, SETAMAUGRALIs, Tharus and others : namely, to take charge and lead. We are all responsible for our destiny and everyone - regardless or caste or creed - needs to do their bit by participating in the political process and contributing to it in ways they can. Those who speak up and vote will be the ones to have their voices heard the most and will be able to shape the future direction of the country to the extent that it is possible for any citizen to do so. I dont see a role for one group that will be very different from the role of another. Just my thoughts.
