Dude u can report it as lost when u wanan go back. If you are outta status then u aren’t going to Nepal anyways soon. So call the cops when u wanna go back. Tell them u lost it a few days back, get the report give it to the embassy go back. OPTION 2 somewhat risky How will the cops know about your status? Go to the nearest thana tell them you are an int. student and lost your passport; and you need a procedural police report. I don’t think they would be eager to know about your status cause they go though that all the time.
