My mistake. I was my mistake to support CPN-M in this thread. People say never talk about politics and religion when drinking and that is what is it. These things can not be proved nor imposed. I wrote what I believed and you wrote what you believed. Time will show who was correct what who was not. Writing "Mandales" or "terrorists" does not put yourself over others, I never wrote that. I was plainly supporting CPN-M, which I still do, wholeheartedly. And all you guys have is the death of 13000 people of nepal. I'm not saying it did not mean anything but dont just go by the number. Its undoubted that half (the official data says more than half) were killed by the State, so dont put that on CPN-M's head. The remaining 6500 that died were Maoists fighters, security personnel etc etc. Now the maoist fighters were there for their dreams, the security personnel were there for their duty, so that tragedy is not something to be blamed. If you think that people should not revolt at all then I have nothing to say. Everyone agrees that the maoists have killed, brutalized, raped, extorted ppl but that was not their intentional act. There are bad people everywhere and there are in Nepal. When the maoists handed guns to the people, some opportunists also got their share. Things could have been a bit better but not a lot different. I think the CPN-M has done a good job. The monarchy and the old feudal, oh yea I like to use that word because that is what it was, system had to be abolished and the maoists did that and i respect them for that. Otherwise things now would be the same as 10 years back, peaceful but death peaceful. The poor and exploited people did not even know that they were exploited. Now they know they are being exploited and they are revolting, that is it.There is a saying in Nepali " Pani umliyepachi pokhinchha" that is what happened. I wrote too long, I can discuss this as long as I make you believe or we agree to disagree but Sajha posting is not the right platform.
