Communication is the key. Also, if between the 2 of you, you're the only one putting in most of the effort, you might want to chill out with that. If you're giving your guy a lot of attention, he may be acting the way he is because he knows no matter how he treats you, he'll always get that attention from you. If you want to, try one day to kind of act like you have better things to do than to think about him or try with him.. he may wonder why you're acting differently and put out the communication and affection you need.
