Ashu, Our posts crossed. Very interesting thoughts there especially on the career path in politics. There was a time when politics attracted the best and brightest but for reasons that are too long to dwell on here, the "best" of our society ( and we continue to produce quite competent people in our country both from the government and private schools) tends to go into anything but politics. A lot of people think you dont have to be in politics to contribute to the country. On the contrary, if the past is any indication, politics is where you can often end up contributing least to the country.
