We have sent our 3 year old daughter with my brother. It was for a short visit. They did not have any problem on their way to Nepal but, a bit problem in Tribhuvan Airport to bring her back to USA. They had a notorized travel approval letter from both of us and we had given them every right to make legal, travel and medical decision during the visit.
