But ig you have a degree in certain major which have chances to get a job in Canada then they will not call you for an interview but if they have some doubt that you might have a hard time to get a job then they will call you for an interview Answer to your other question about how long to get a PR.....it looks like you got long ways to go (looking at Nirvana's case) nirvana, No I didn't go through all those. but I did get my PR in 8 months and it was before sept 11-2001.
