The suggested National Anthem "Sayau Thunga Phool ka" by Byakul Maila had not been accepted by the cabinet and Nepal Government because as per the Maoist and UML Byakul Maila has praised poems written by King Gyanendra in one of a publication in the past. Thus, due to politial reasons and as per the assumptions of our dear leader that everything associated with King Gyanendra is bad and evil the beautiful poem has not been approved yet. "Sri Mann Gambhir" is still the national anthem of Nepal.
