Thanks to ya all for reading and for patience!! Sorry for the delay!! :( But here is one for a day!! :) *************************************** Aakash left Anita outside her cousin’s house. She had insisted him to come inside, but he never was comfortable with any new place; and he denied, she accepted. He went to New Road; the same old durbar square just to find so many things has changed there. He dialed one of his old friend, Suresh’s number. “Hello” “Oyee, New Road aunchhas?” He asked. Suresh was a married man now, with a lovely daughter and very adorable wife. He had started his own business few years back and had been quite successful in it. “Kina kehi plan chha?” He asked. “Nothing! Just to catch up old times!” Aakash just wanted someone to join him in bar. “Ok! Half hour ma aaunchhu!” Suresh never denied Aakash. He had been his dear friend for more than a decade; they have shared their ups and downs together. When Suresh wanted to start on his own, Aakash had supported him whole heartedly, with whatever he could: sometimes financially and sometimes emotionally. Suresh knew Aakash’s every secret and vice versa. They were good of friends. Suresh arrived within 20 minutes; same meeting place the peepal bot. “So bhe ko kasto tayari chaldai chha ta?” Suresh queried first. “Going on! Ma and didi are doing all things!” Aakash answered. “Kahan jaane??” Suresh asked. “Jaam tehin!” and they went to same old place; Chatamari chhen in placed in between the chaos of Chikan mugal where they served authentic newari food. “Are you happy?” Suresh asked. “I want to be.” “Still??” Suresh knew him entirely. “I wrote her an email!” Aakash began his guilt trip. “Gosh! Not again Aakash!” Suresh sat there his mouth as wide as hippopotamus. “I couldn’t help.” Aakash answered. “Oh my god! You are not being fair with Anita! Come on Aakash it had been too long, it is history, and you are not being fair to Smriti also.” Suresh gave his verdict. “I know, and I am not being fair with myself and all around; but I did it and I can not get over the guilt now!” Aakash tried to clarify. “Now stop thinking! Focus on future and you will be just fine!” They began drinking the beer on a hot summer evening. They left the place after 2 hours of chit chats. “Oyee Swoyambhu jaam!” Aakash always loved that place. He had gone there and stayed for hours alone thousand times and it was never enough. “Tero bhauju ko kutai khanu chah ra!” Suresh denied. “La la, bhauju lai namaste bhade!” Aakash departed from Suresh at the parking lot. “Oyee, Don’t go and drink again there; mero bhe ta taile khana painaas, tero bhe maile khana napaula pheri!” Suresh warned Aakash with a joke. Aakash was abroad doing job when Suresh got married; Aakash could not get leave in short notice. “Khanna!” Aakash speed his bike toward the destination; where he can be alone with his soul. The place never changed; as if the time has stopped just there, same big eyes as if looking at him questioning once and again: Have you find you?? The view of Kathmandu was awesome, glittering as if it was ready for party once and again; and in far corner remained the Airport; planes taking on and off. His thoughts reached to past; He had met her last in the same airport, and leaving her was hardest thing he had ever did; He had came back from airport to same place he was right now. And he had stayed there alone all night on the chilly winter night of Magh. Tears flowed through his eyes till there was nothing left to flow again. He remembered all things in details and He smiled at himself; as if he himself was a joke. ***************************************
