It seems from the link Shirish posted that other professional organizations are joining in too - is that true? I personally think this could turn out to be one of the most effective pressure tactics used against the Maoists if the protests are clearly directed at the leadership and if the govt can take advantage of these protests to further push disarmament and a stop to extortion and violence. Hopefully the SPA and Maoist leaders are smart enough and matured enough not to let this jeopardize the stability of the government and the peace process.
