Asylum is a protection relief for those whose life will definitely be in danger (subject to torture, imprisonment, death etc) if they go back to their home country. There are millions of people around the world who genuinely need asylum relief. A slot given to one who does not need it absolutely denies the necessary protection to another in genuine need.
