Thank you all for taking your time to search youtube and the links. I have to admit that I
have been enjoying all the links (your well wasted/used times, if i may say so :) ) without
doing even a single job on my own. Yes, I am guilty. I have been away from hindi music, songs and everything else for a long time. Thanks to all of you, this thread has has made me nostalgic.
I, too, have watched numerous movies and enjoyed Mohammud Rafi, KK, RD, and all others, not quite all in the Jaljala and Himalaya of Biratnagar, but a city close by. Beginning from the so-called third class, which by the way was aptly named "gandhi class" (no disrepect to Gandhi here) to those date
movies in the corner of upper class "balcony" when I could afford to pay (over priced "blackie" sold tickets on a student discounted "saturdays") for it. That was one place where the love birds could enjoy movies as well as each others company without anyone giving you "the look". Those were the days (I guess).
As for "Arth", it was one of the most controversial and higly debated movie back then. Smita Patil and Sabana Azami, no doubt were/are one of the most talented actresses bollywood has ever produced (is produced a right word here?). Too bad that we didn't get to watch much of Smita Patil's talent. I wonder is Sabana Azami still around?
Keep posting guys/gals.......
Thanks muchooossssssssssss.
