Hey SimpleGal, Do you know that R.D. Burman plagiarized the tune of this song from Ambar Gurung 's " E kaanchha malaai sun ko taaraa kahasai deuna". I was in Darj as a boy then and still remember the hulabaloo and later R.D. Burman admitting that he had heard this tune from his 'Bahadur' humming this song in the distance and instantly liking it.
