They've buoyed me when I sank in utter despair, given wings to life's small joys, held me close like a mother holds her child when i needed that warmth of affection in a far away land like the US where mom wasn't always around to comfort me, and helped me get up and walk on when i fell on life's brutal stones numerous times .....in essense, they have given me life.
