I don't know why people leave everything including job before getting visa.....is it due to overconfidence or lack of proper information regarding DV. I guess, its due to lack of proper information in this case, as they were doing everything from consultant, which probably didn't give them enough information, that second confirmation letter do not confirm the visa, to rip off money from them.
