sheetalb: as a business analyst in IT, you are expected to assist in application/system development along with the managers and developers. since you are not from IT why do you want to pursue this? is it only for H1b? my advice for you is - if you're not interested in an IT career, why don't you go for an MBA? there is a separate H1B quota for advanced degree and it might be a bit easier to get a job after the masters. i know it's tough to maintain status....believe me, we've all been there at one point of time. if H1B is your only goal at the moment, you might want to try and consult a few of these indian consultancies advertising on sulekha.com. but just be aware, do this as a last resort because they WILL promise you big things which will never happen. they will try to rip you off and if you do get a job, you will receive only 1/3rd of the billing rate... maybe less. it's all about the money!
