When we do not accept the greatness of Shah Dynasty in Nepal, discredit any act done by Prithivi Narayan Shah, Tribhuwan and Mahendra, destroy their statue chant slogan for their death, I wonder if we have any right to claim Darjeeling or Kumau and Gadwal as part of Nepal. As we all know there was no country called Nepal 240 years ago and small independent states were fought and conquered by Prithi Narayan Shah, Bahadur Shah and some till the time of Girvana. We could not protect our land and lost some to British when their occupied India and this was the time when we lost a huge area of Nepal such as current Darjeeling and Kumau and Gadwal. So, is it fair to claim Darjeeling to be a part of Nepal now???? I don't think so.
