Dr. Devkota is a pioneer in his field. If you think he does not respect his patients, then why are the people still waiting for months to go see him? If you want respect more than the cure to your disease go see some peon, they will respect you. Regarding him charging high fees, it is based on supply and demand, nobody is putting a gun on your head and asking you to go see him. There are plenty of other doctors. It is your choice. If you want to get his time and skills you got to give something in return. Money is the medium of exchange. I'm not sure whether he should be on the top 50 list or not but looking at the above list I will say YES. Like someone has mentioned before this list doesnot mean much because it has Gayne, Kamal Thapa, Girija and as such. Somebody mentioned his joining the government in 2001. We don't know what his true intentions were so we should not be too quick to judge. One thing is for sure that he did not do it for the money because he can probably make more in his practice. Maybe he thought that he could be part of the team that can bring peace. There were few comments about his personal life too. Nobody has right to comment on other people's personal lives. That is absolutely pathetic and truly uncalled for. I'm not sure whether he is still married or divorced but that is none of my business. People who are into character assasination should look at themselves and their family too. Do you beleive that your family is the only one without any flaws? Don't act as if your shit does not stink.
