Did he know that you were getting married for green card only? If he did, then ask him for a divorce. He should be wiling to sign the paper if he doesn't want to remain married. If he did not know that you were getting married for GC only, then you pretty much duped him. You should be ashamed for that. But the main thing is that he does not have any right to treat you badly. Get an attorney and file for divorce. Do not mention that you got married for GC only. If he has physically abused you then your case is even stronger. You can keep your GC and SSN. But if he can prove that you duped him to get married and you knew that you planned on leaving him after getting GC, the yo are shit out of luck.
