Rape, Assault Charges Against Resort Cabbie A Nepalese cab driver was arrested in Ocean City in August after he escorted a visibly intoxicated female passenger to a resort hotel and sexually assaulted her several weeks earlier. Ocean City Police arrested Sachindra Nepal, 25, after an extensive investigation revealed he had sexually assaulted a female fare in a resort hotel room in mid-July. According to reports, the victim was heavily intoxicated at an uptown restaurant after getting separated from her friends at a party. Restaurant employees flagged down a taxi for the victim who was “conscious, but unresponsive.” The cabbie, Nepal, took the victim to Ocean Pines, where she reportedly lived, but brought her back to Ocean City when she could not tell him where she lived.
