Why do you need memory card slot when it is 4GB/8GB? Do you think Apple will only sell iPhone only in US where we are at 2.5G? That would be too foolish. What about Eurepean market, Japan, Asian market etc. So don't worry, there will be 3G unlocked versions of iPhone also. iPhone is not even in the market and you talk about 3rd party application....
