So far this my favourite lens I have used for shooting portraits. Amazing contrast, great auto focus speed for high action shots...and constant apeture (smallest available "F" number) throught the zoom range of 80-200mm. Instantly gives you the credibility of a serious photographer in public (dont be suprised to see people staring at you in public if you are dangling one of these anywhere you go.)
