After Jana-andolan, we were supposed to have an all powerful government and an improved situation of law and order and some kind of patience and co-operation from the professional groups to the government accordingly. What we see is the opposite and for a very understandable reason. The legitimacy of the government of SPA is incomplete without support/participation of the Maoists. It is this semi-legitimacy that has compromised the authority of the government. This hopefully will change once the Maoists join the government. However, coming days won't be easy.
