sajha to earn money

Hello friends, sure sajha is one great site and no matter what we do, how busy we might be, this is where we always find time to come together and share our views. I'm 100% sure; nobody would even think to go against this massive site which we like very much. It is indeed just brilliant to come up with this sort of idea and most of all very very hard work to maintain the site. There is no doubt that all the free sites and almost all the open source projects - they all need some sort of funding, otherwise it's just impossible to keep it running. I'm sure that neither me nor anybody else is concerned about how much money sajha makes or should make. I rather personally wish that there is always some sort of cash flow so that there will never be any kind of financial problems and sajha by improving the concerns of the site in terms of ‘web usability’ will just increase its use. It’s true that people are trying to establish the site with lots of ad sense, just hoping people will click some of the links (even by mistake) and in turn get something out of it from google. However, sajha has grown bigger now, (this is just my personal request and of course you can absolutely disagree with it), however I request sajha to use ads sensibly and do not even give a chance for people to compare sajha with other minor sites. I rather like to request sajha to have donation page (just for an example, Apache has) with little bit of FAQs explaining why we should contribute and how sajha and we users will benefit from it. I’m sure users are generous and will support with as much as they can afford. For me, it’s not matter of money but request to make it more user-friendly. For example, like I mentioned earlier, we can have direct links to other sections from ‘Other Discussions/Resources’ in main menu as well, not just in the pop-up menu. Direct visibility does make a difference and it is well established and proven in the research of ‘web usability’. Most of the people are only aware of ‘kurakani’ section and for some they even block the pop-ups appearing depending upon their preferences and security settings in the browser and many people do not have exploratory nature. Probably sajha can conduct web surveys time to time as well to find out users preferences and to know how they use this site. Investigating users’ web browsing behaviour gives surprising results and after all it’s just the process of making the site more usable. I just wrote this long boring comment to strongly reflect my opinion about sajha that it is without any doubt a great concept and I had no whatsoever wrong intention for raising this thread, but to suggest and request everyone to share their views on how we may think it can be improved and at the end of the day to see our community grow even much bigger with sajha. Sometimes you may have some interesting idea/view or something that you wanted to share, some interesting picture or video clip you just took while you were away from your desktop pc, and by the time you are home, you may think it’s too late or not bothered or just forget about it. So, I even wish that sajha will be extended in a future in such a way that it will even allow users to post comments, picture and even videos through mobile/handheld devices. At least for now, as I use mini opera for web browsing on mobile devices and if sajha can also be updated following the recommendation such as of W3C on web best practices, it will also help increase its wider use and it will sure help prompt the concept of one web as well. Love live Sajha!
