LOL @ Shirish! But you know something, I always thought Haddock was smarter than what Herge made him out to be. Come to think of it, I sometimes wonder if Herge made everyone else look a little silly to bolster the image of Tintin? Calculus, Thompson and Thomson, Bianca Castofiore and even Snowy - every one of them had their quirky sides exposed except for Tintin. At least much more than Tintin.
