camo bro, yes, you are right to some extent. the first and foremost thing maoists have always wanted is a demoratic republic of nepal because they were able to analyze the problem of nepal - the social disparity. for any country to prosper and rise, it needs to have a just society which does NOT discriminate people based on their caste, creed, race or locations. the 'samantis' - suckers - of our society have always used poor, dalit , women and children. we have a system which force a poor to stoop in front of the privileged people. You have to respect people with the likes of parash shah and sharad chandra shah even if you have a Phd in economics or something. king is always respected despite his wrong deeds and ill intentions/motives. how fair is that? this hierarchichal chain of 'samantabad' starts from the palace and king is the head of it. we need to demolish this hierarchy so as to establish a just society and the best point of start to this move is by ousting the king. the demolition will continue to reach to the village level to help the poor and dalits get out of the manipulation from samantis. ============================= Maranchyase, its not that we did not get anything out of 2046 BS movement. of course, we got out of the totalitarian panachayati system and media rights were revived and retained, but the major problem of ours - social disparity was never, never addressed, let alone rectifying the problem. ============================= Sn di, hehe....i agree with you - 100%. No one, No one (with capital N :P) has a right to violate the human rights and more so that of children. but which children are we talking about? let's see- children of the rural village of nepal, right? children who hardly get enough food to satiate their hunger. children who have to work after their home at a tender age, children who have to go to the forest to get woods instead of to the school to study. children who don't get enough sleep to dream about a secured and prosperous future....let's not talk about what goes on with the children of dalits.... where is your human right - children rights didu? who is supposed to inspect to see if no one's right is violated- the system and the rulers? did they give a damn as of today? people like prachanda and baburam started their revolution to fight against this odd of our society. people who were/are used by the society lend their hands and of full support to them in the revolution. even kids came out to help them. the reason being, they want to fight against the evil - their misfortune..... if ONLY this is violation of human rights then be it- let it be violated but they need to see a just nepal with an equitable society where everyone has a share of their basic rights.
