While Marriage holds more value and sentimens in eastern culture , or in this case , in Nepal than in western countries, there still is no guarentee that every marriage will succeed. like every aspect of life in nepal, marriage is also heading or being influenced by western cultures. A decade ago, while most ppl got married thru choices of their parents , and even if its the same case right now, ppl are aware or atleast vigulent to get to know the person for a month or two and decide, if he/she is the right person . Good or Bad , ppl nowdays also explore the option of divorce, whatever may the reason be, both male and female have become more financialy/mentally/economically independent and confident ( atleast in the city) and might not be willing to share their life together , in a bad marriage, and consider divorce as a valid option. Prenups are famous for directing how money and assets will be distributed upon divorce , though quiet not popular or practised in Nepal ( or may be i am just not aware of), the question still remains, should prenup be, or can we expect it to be start taking a vital shape in our culture or betwen us Nepalese. * Get a Will / Power of Attorney
