I am from Pokhara. but not in America....... Swatantratagaamy: Mt. Machhapuchhre is banned for climbing because local people have believe that its Kumaari....Himal and it should not be polluted like Mt. Everest. So, it is banned. Now a days some external people want it to be opened for climbing but still the local people are strongly against of it. Shave Machhapuchre ! Don't pollute it !!
