i think they dont prefer hiring people on tourist visa. but if you graduated from US college it is very very easy to sign on any of these companies. infact theese people have started advertising freely.. in my college career website i noticed a few of those dhoti companies were listed. i was a bit shocked... but yeah to answer your question , if u came in tourist visa, i think it might be difficult to find a company to sponsor your H1B. but again different company have different policies, so maybe some other company might let u work. -lato
