I used that road several times to go to Khalanga, Salyan when I lived and worked in Tulsipur, Dang several years ago. The road which was not even black-topped until about two to three years ago, I think, is probably the most dangerous road in Nepal: a false turn in the dangerously and narrowly serpentine incline (or decline), and you fall straight into the river below. Great for adrenaline junkies, but sheer hell for the poor people of Dang and Salyan and of zillas above. oohi ashu
