He wants to share an apartment. But he has not stated anything about sharing an apartment anywhere. That's an ambiguous statement. He might have wanted to share his bedroom, dirty underpants, toothbrush, socks,his feelings and emotions, friendship or even your .....God knows what ! Anyway good luck :)
