I was born, raised and completed my college in what a handful of Nepalese call it MADHESH. Now I live overseas and am involved in healthcare field. I happened to born in Bramhan hindu family. What Paramendra rules has mentioned are facts. People living in Madhes especially those with the last name MANDAL, DHOBI, YADAV ETC. have heavely been exploited by those who are centered in Kathmandu mostly or in the SADARMUKAM of cities and towns. It is not only a poitical issue, it is a cultural and religious issue. It is a very big and a complex issue. Kathmandu always ignored MADEHS, alwyas supressed people living in Madhesh, always hid truth from them.Kathmandu never gave Madhesis equal access to the national budget throughoutt the history of independent Nepal. Madhesis were always been called DHOTI AND BHELE and treated as second class citizens. The culture of Kathmandu is 100% responsible for producing maoists because it always ignored poverty, the poor people. It always cut the budget and let the poor people die. Kathmandu added ring road and called it beauty, at the same time it ignored people dying of most preventable diseases in Humal and Jumla.However, the gun will not solve the problem. we have to make people realize the seriousness of problems.
