This time it’s not a joke that talk is between people and foreigners. People don’t want to keep the snake family under any circumstances. Given the chance this snake can spit venom anytime and anywhere to anybody which would be a biggest mistake after all this struggle. At the same time, foreign charmers have found this snake tamable and want to keep him at status quo because he could be the one point source to give direction and influence their interests in Nepal. So, the people are being deceived again. They died and got wounded for the dogs to fight for bone. With peaceful means nobody could reach in the bargaining table where the fate of the snake could be discussed. Now, when they have reached in a position where they can eliminate the possibility of another snakebite, Mr X is bargaining for snake’s safekeeping. X doesn’t move from his stand to keep this worthless creature and acts like the bargaining outfit will put him in a gallop once he gives up. He might also be thinking he will be earning new master if he agrees to the outfit. That’s not implausible statement based on outfit’s violent history. But, the irony is Mr X also seems to be in foreign charmer’s influence. He has forgotten the root cause that gave birth to this violent outfit was the snake by himself. Wouldn’t it be better to first get rid of snake and then deal with outfit separately?
