but, if it is the thread you want to make , it is pain in the rear. ther is an option where you can change the angle of the helix, just like in solid extrusion. You can make a tapered helix. At the end of the helix make the cross section of the thread. Sweep the cross section along the helix. But, if you want the drawing for manufacturing purpose. Stick to the easy way. Add notes to your drawing.
