Seeing this topic reminded of an ugly incident and i still remember it clear. I'm a sherpa girl and have faced many racist comments on streets by our own bahun/chettri nepalis...12 years back, I was walking home from school one day and a group of bahuns/chetri guys spat out, "oye bhoteni, gai ko masu khane haru!". Funny how the law of karma works. Now that question of "Gai" is back to bite back in their ass. We may not be hindus, but we respect hindu culture and religion. Peace to Nepal whether we be allowed to kill gaais or not!
