anon bro, i think definitions have to be changed in accordance with time. we used to live in a male predominaant society, still do. any product from such a society is bound to be sexist, no doubt. but with the advancement of technology, impartment of education and advent of noble ideas, everything including the "concept" have to be modified for the greater goods of people and the society. as for language is concerned, it is changing according to time. we have more technical words in the vocabulary now. email, internet, spamming, hacking are newly innovated words. some old words have more than one meaning nowadays. to be really honest, i don't even find the need of feminine words like "she" , "her" and so on.we don't have separate second person words in nepali to refer to female gender, do we? then why can't it be applied in english? saput, saputri, suputri should refer to person and not the gender.
