Thanks for the interesting article,if you watch closely the pic of Prithivi Narayan Shah the great,he has some mongoloid features too,supporting their magaar extraction,but non brahman prist is not antiquity because in most of the godess temples of ktm and outside, in shakti pith there are prists from newar communities with tantrik background called Sewacharya, and Karmacharya,who offer the pujas in tantrik's way.
