There are nosy, sometimes mean, people in every society who are quick to pronounce judgement about others and I am sure Bangladeshi and Nepali societies are no exceptions. Even in the US, where there is a higher acceptance of different types of lifestyles, you often come across people who tend to be judgemental, often times behind the backs of others, about being single, divorced, fat, gay, not having children or anything the other person is that they are not. Thankfully, you tend to come across such people in fewer numbers in the west, but they do exist because it's only human to try and feel good about yourself by looking down on others. That said, I agree it is a matter of personal choice and if somebody can't accept your choice then that is their problem and they can go to hell for all you care. Avanni - Scorn single women?
