I also got married this year, also travelled to ktm to get married, also married my long time gf and also married to a household richer than my own.But the feelings were just the opposite i should say. It was an enjoyable affair, the music and the dances, the rituals and the love from both families, the pride in the eyes of my father in law when he introduced me to his family members were overwhelming. After the marriage ceremony was over i told my wife,it was such a wonderful experience and i felt that the days just flew away. Then my wife made a valid point,it may have been such a wonderful experience for us simply because we did not have to do anything, our family members took care of everything. It seems a resonable argument but I have a point to add on that and that is,its all in your head,if u look up to anything as good/wonderful/graceful it indeed turns out that way,it may not hold good for everything but i guess marriage certainly would be an apt.example.
