Ya, I was infact referring to EssBase - which of course is the engine behind the OLAP software. The software is originally known as Essbase and the name Hyperion is given to it after it acquired Essbase. Anyways, to answer other questions, there are many components to Hyperion, starting from Planning to Hyperion Financial Manangement. Now they have come up with a suite/package called System 9 - which I believe integrates all the features of Hyperion. I have recntly completed the training and in the proces of getting the certification for HCC. If anyone of you have taken it and would like to share experience reg. where to find sample questions etc.. you are most welcome.. Thx for all the responses so far and of course...keep them coming...it will certainly help many who wants to know about this amazing analytical tool...not that I am trying to market it or anything!
