when i was first introduced to so called nepali-hop.. i was like what da F*K is this... and still i have zero taste for it... however, i can't be critical of singers like NSK or others who are trying to bring this into the mainstream...the reason is this is what the current generation is influenced by..so why shall these guys be criticized? in my time, i remember walking the streets of ktm with torn jeans, and poison lips embroidered on my pants with leather jackets...listening to rolling stones in my walkman...as a result there were few nepali bands that were influenced by such music around them and enjoyed a brief limelight on the music scene. same this is happening today but on larger capacity since there are more mediums to influence these young generations... i see these ANA pictures with Hip-hoped Nepali guys in the US...and to be honest they are no different than NSK or anyone who is in Nepal.. in a globalized culture you share your identity, your taste and your mindset... my dui cents..
