Cerine, The song has been stamped "controversial" on the basis of "POILA JANA PAM". Although I am not nepali major, what I was taught is "POILA" means "eloping away with someone else leaving your husband" (it will be more clear if someone refers to Nepali Brihat Sabdakosh for the exact meaning). In nepali context, "eloping away with someone else leaving your husband" is still considered shameless act although it's more related to personal choice. If the wife is not happy with her husband for some reason, she has the full right to choose another partner. And, it doesn't seem Komal literally means "POILA -eloping away with someone else leaving your husband" in this song. After listening the song carefully, I reached to the conclusion that she praying lord shiva to get married this year. Sentences like "sadhai maiti ghar ma basne malai man chaina" , "poi paiyos vanera japchu timro nam", "rahar sarai malai sindur pote launa lai, poi ko hat samatera maiti ghar aauna lai" , "sarai ramro poi paros college ma padheko" make her interntion clear (no way, she means the second man). It's a fun song and there is no need to make a big fuss about it.
