Sumoff, You are so talented. All the amateurs should stop writing now because u make us all feel so inadequate. What I like most about you? You know Nepal and Nepali (both the language and the people) so well, your perspective is as authentic as anyother. I also noticed that in the last 2 or 3 of your pieces you have started using nepali more. I love that. Please don't be scared to do that. You could be our Shobha de, who incoporated Mumbaiya speak into English. But what I mean is, dont bother about the reader too much, just write in your elements. Sometimes its the reader's job to interpret the author, not the author's job to make the reader understand, especially when the author is as talented as u. DOnt change your writing even when u start writing for Non-Nepalis. Death of people you know or know of especially when we are young makes u see mortality in a new light. while previously we might have believed that death happened to other people, losing someone u know makes death very personal and 1000 times more fearful. YEah i have come across women like Chitrika fupu as well. we can learn a lesson or two on forgiveness from women of that generation. For these women, what a person said (or did) to hurt them in the past isn't a reason for them to treat you differently in the present. EVen if u had not expressed your remorse, she would still have come to your wedding. In contrast, how often do we, the younger generation,go through life holding grudges. You are a genius sumoff. Please keep on writing. ANd while you are at it, tell us why DIvyeswori's case no is 1273. Yes i follow your writings like its another course I have registered in. :)
