it was a great opportunity to meet my school friends when i was in nepal this summer. i attended couple of meetings as well. everyone is giving their best to support this alumni, and make it bigger. i was surprised to hear that 25 batches including +2 have been passed out from dps so far. isn't that Great! we all should work and help to grow our alumni so that it could be of help to everyone. there was a gathering once at Maroon Lounge ( a cocktail bar) in Thamel, and the owner was my fellow classmate. well, things have changed. it was a nice evening and there was world cup fever strolling all over. football, the craziest game of all for DCOPs, and good old mates with chilled beer, whisky, rum and gin ....... what else we all need. we started kicking back to our old times, and everyone, yeah even though some had kids .... not a KID, but KIDS, started behaving like hostel boys.laughing, and making fun of eachother. who gives a shi*** we all were friends, grew up together. we all went back to the past and enjoyed that evening. nothing has changed at all. i could see at my friends' eyes. they are still the same, and so do i. years gone longer, hairs gone grey, eyes looked matured, so as the personality ... but once we got together, God, forget it .... we again started walking towards hills of Sanga, helipad, saraswoti mandir, football ground, bhaisepati ko bhatti, sahili ra mahili ko pasal at sanga bus stop, our dining room, school building, Gaun, teachers, kitchen staffs, dhobini didis, compounder room, kaaragaar ..and lists goes on and on. everyone looks fresh that evening even though we all were kinda drowned in alcohol. well, someone shows up with G. yeah, DCOPs should know what it is. none other than Ganja. more memories to hit everyone's mind. all those khaini or (paisa), cigarette ... it never ends. there were people who had already built their career, and there were some who were trying their best to build one. some were cops, some army officers, some administrators, some realtors, some business personnels, some entrepreneur, some stay home kinda people, some big time players, doctors, dentists, pilots and ....... but i want to let everyone know about this that we should all be one. let our memories not die. especially our school days memories ... it will keep us young and alive. sharing is caring. lets share our views and opinions. cheers to all DPS cops.
