F1 visa holder will eligible to work on campus job but also you can apply the working permit on the basis of Financial Crisis.. you may need to support the documents ( which is not that hard) and other way to get work permit is an OPT once you finished the study for 1 year. In both cases you will get work permit for 1 year. on a more serious note, lemme know tyo irs ra ins le k k garne ho hai. I dont think there will be any problem, i have seen ppl are doing this before and i wont say there wont be any link between IRS and INS but on your case, they wont bother matching your ssn from INS to IRS whether you are working before or not.
