anjit, At a point when the world order is at the edge of a breaking point, this kind of barbarism from Israel is absolutely unacceptable. This could have been easily solved by a slight bit of diplomatic effort in releasing the hostage. Perhaps exchanging few among thousands of innocent lebanese held hostage by Israel for the soldiers captured seem to have been a perfect and better response. But doesn't this action prove that Israel was waiting for perfect opportunity to launch an offensive, with an excuse of self defence, to pre-emptively attack populated areas of an ancient nation, killing children and women among others, most of whom I am sure had nothing to do with either Israel or Hezbollah, or wouldn't care about both. This action cannot justify the prerogative of self defense, unfortunately. Israel's relentless act of aggression has muscled all the muslim population together and they will strike back, because they are already in a boiling point with the so called civilized nation bullying and acting as a police state. Murder and mayhem is not an answer to terrorism. You cannot possibly eliminate all your adversaries by bombing. They will multiply and so keep bombing and killing innocents, you will have more to deal with. Israel should throw aid not bombs on the poor lebanese people. If we want to eliminate terrorism, provide food for the hungry, provide aid for the poor, provide education for illeterate, provide healthcare for sick, provide saniation for unhealhy. Can there be any better way to answer terrorism?
